A homage meeting to honour T V Kalyani Amma, a great folk singer from Papparatta in Kankol, on her 41st death anniversary on 10th April was organized at Folkland centre, under Dorf Ketal’s CSR support. Prof. Muhammed Ahammed former Folklore Akademy Chairman delivered the keynote address on the occasion. Folk singer Kavoottan Madavi sang folk songs as a tribute to the deceased singer. Luminaries Shri.Ramachandran master and Shri. Thamban took part in the meeting and Dr. V Jayarajan presided over the function. Seven Folk singers from Udinoor sang songs on environmental awareness.
